The ezMiner system allows you to use the data from your Verifone Ruby, Gilbarco G-Site, Gilbarco Passport or Easy1 Register as merchandising and category management tools. Age verification using a driver's license for tobacco, alcohol and lottery sales, customer loyalty including coupons, and house account tracking with transaction details are just a few of the benefits from ezMiner

In addition to the enhanced marketing tools, ezMiner allows you to open "real time cashier monitoring" which captures all transactions at the keystroke level. You never have to worry again about losing data in the event one of your registers malfunctions for any reason. If your cashier's perform any "negative transaction" i.e. modify a pricem cancel a sale, perform an error correct or no sale, the information is immediately captured in the ezMiner system. It can audibly notify the manager in the store using our wireless PDA or wireless touchscreen monitor when these transactions occur. The receipts are displayed for instant viewing. These transactions and any other events you choose can be emailed to a corporate security officer in real time.

When selling alcohol or tobacco products to your customers you will add one additional step. You need to swipe your customer's drivers license on the drivers license reader immediately following the scanning of these items. An age verification "chit" will INSTANTLY print on a thermal printer located at the register. The "chit" verifies your customer's age and notifies the cashier if the driver's license has expired or is going to expire in the next 30 days. This is a wonderful customer service you would be able to offer. In addition to age verification, swiping the driver's license performs a loyalty or house account lookup in ez>Miner and appends the entire transaction to the customer's file and creates loyalty coupons when applicable.

One of the first options with ezMiner is the decision to offer every one of your customers the oppurtunity to become a loyalty customer. Of you choose this option, the ezMiner will print a data input form to be completed by the customer at his leisure. Once the form is complete, it is up to the store personnel to enter the data - OR - you can swipe the driver's license of the customer and the data will be filled in automatically - OR- the customer can log into a secured website and enter the data himself. You also have the ablility to select which items listed on the data form MUST be complete in order to create the customer

In addition to INSTANTLY printing coupons, the ezMiner loyalty program will calculate store loyalty points and print coupons when the awards threshold has been met. The ezMiner will track MULTIPLE promotions and notify your customers of their total points for each promo.
